London Photo Booth

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 11, 2026

London Photo Booth is a business name of 3 Shades Inc. This page explains what personal information we collect when you visit our website or book the photo booth, why we need it, who we share it with and how long we keep it.

The short version

  • We only collect what we need to plan and run your event.
  • We never sell your information or use it to advertise to you.
  • No tracking cookies. Our visitor counts use no cookies and don't identify you.
  • Your personal details are removed two years after your event.
  • Questions, or want to see or change your details? Email info@londonphotobooth.ca.

What we collect and why

When you ask for a date

Your name, email and phone number, the event date, the occasion, the town, the package you're interested in, whether the venue has Wi-Fi, and any notes you add.

Why: to check that we're free, reply to you, quote any travel fee and tell you if the optional mobile hotspot would help.

When you book

The venue address, the set-up and tear-down times, the venue coordinator's name, phone number and email, your choices about the hotspot and included items, and any notes.

Why: to arrive on time, set up with the venue and bring what you asked for.

When you pay

Payments are handled by Stripe. Your card details go straight to Stripe; we never see your full card number. We receive a record of what was paid and when.

Spam protection

When you send a request, we keep a scrambled, one-way fingerprint of your internet connection's address. It can't be turned back into the address.

Why: to limit how many requests one connection can send in a day. It's deleted after 24 hours.

If you came from one of our Google ads

Google adds a click code to the web address when you click our ad. If you then send a request, we save that code with it. If the request becomes a booking, we tell Google that the click led to a booking, with the date and amount. We don't send Google your name, email, phone number or any other details.

Why: so we know which ads work and don't spend money on the ones that don't.

Visitor counts

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits. It sees which pages are viewed, the site that linked to us, the country and the type of browser and device. It uses no cookies and doesn't identify you. It isn't used on the private pages where you complete a booking.

Why: to see which pages people find useful.

At your event

The booth takes photos of your guests, and guests can choose to send their photos to themselves by text or email. A phone number or email address a guest types in is only used to send their photos. Event photos are stored in Apple iCloud and Google Drive so we can deliver them. Your download link stays open for 30, 60 or 90 days, depending on your package.

We may share photos from events on our website and social media. If you'd like a photo taken down, email us and we'll remove it.

When you email us

Whatever you choose to include, so we can answer you.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell, rent or trade your information.
  • We don't send newsletters or marketing emails. We only email you about your request or booking.
  • We don't use advertising or tracking cookies, and we don't let other companies track you on our site.

Who we share it with

We use a few trusted services to run the business. Each gets only what it needs to do its job:

  • Stripe takes your deposit and sends your balance invoice.
  • Google runs our email and calendar, where your booking details are recorded.
  • Resend sends our booking emails.
  • Telegram sends us private alerts about new requests and bookings.
  • Cloudflare hosts our website, stores booking records and counts visits.
  • Google Ads receives only an ad click code and whether it led to a booking.
  • Apple iCloud and Google Drive store and deliver your event photos.

We would only share your information with anyone else if the law requires it.

Information stored outside Canada. These services may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States. While it's there, it can be accessed by courts, law enforcement and national security authorities under that country's laws.

We keep booking details for two years because many of our customers book us again for their next event. Emails we've exchanged with you, and the matching calendar entries and alerts, stay in our accounts until you ask us to delete them.

How we keep it safe

Our website only uses encrypted (https) connections. Booking records are kept in password-protected accounts that only the people who run London Photo Booth can open. Each private booking link is unique and practically impossible to guess.

If a breach ever put your information at real risk of significant harm, we would tell you and report it to the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, as the law requires.

Cookies

Our website doesn't set cookies for tracking or advertising, so there's no cookie banner.

  • Stripe's payment page uses its own cookies to process payments safely and prevent fraud.
  • Our "how it works" video only loads from YouTube when you press play. YouTube may then set its own cookies.
  • If you arrive from one of our Google ads, the click code is held in your browser tab's temporary memory, not a cookie. It's gone when you close the tab and is only sent to us if you send a request.

Your choices

You can ask us to:

  • show you the personal information we have about you;
  • correct anything that's wrong;
  • delete your details early (we still have to keep payment records for tax purposes).

Email info@londonphotobooth.ca. It's free, and we'll reply within 30 days.

If you're not happy with our answer, you can complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Changes to this policy

When we change this policy, we update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use details you've already given us, we'll email you before it takes effect.
